They’re Kooky, They’re Crazy, and They are in Garland!!!
The Addams Family has come to visit Garland in all their weirdness, and in a musical, yet, and I had a great time!!
If you remember the Family at all, you will love this new incarnation set to music.
Gomez tries to keep a secret from Morticia, and all goes awry from there. Wednesday loves a normal (?) man, and it is very upsetting to all that she might even think about being normal herself!! And havoc ensues.
I had a wonderful time, laughed a great deal, and especially loved the fact that Garland Civic Theatre would stage this delightful musical. The singing was on target, the dancing and the acting were on cue, and the actors looked as if they were having the time of their lives.
I heartily recommend this wonderful escape from reality into the world of The Addams Family.....every actor was cast perfectly! You will laugh with Fester, connive with Pugsley, maunder with Grandma, and Lurch will surprise you!!
The ‘normal’ family has its quirks and hidden secrets, as well, and it is another whole plot to see their journey! The ‘Full Disclosure’ number will leave you in stitches. The audience was having a great time, too.
I loved it, I know you will, too!
Come meet the family. We'll leave the lights OFF for you.
