Come See Why Our Patients Love Us!
Meet Dr. Hammonds
Dr. Hammonds has lived in the DFW area since 1970 and graduated from Grapevine High School back when the area was still farms and pastures. After receiving a full Naval scholarship for college along with several other scholarships and merit awards, he went to Texas A&M University for pre-med studies and then to the University of Texas at Houston for medical school. He completed his family practice residency at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston in 1992, and has been board certified since that time.
Dr. Hammonds returned to his hometown area in 1992 and established his private practice in North Richland Hills. In 1995, he helped start Texas Health Care, our current multi-speciality group and served on the board of directors for the company for several years. Texas Health Care PLLC has flourished because of its innovative leadership and its dedication to providing quality medical care and has grown to over 150 physicians, the largest group in Tarrant County.
The Doctor is 57 years old and is married with three children. He is still an active pilot and flies small airplanes whenever the chance arises. He stays active and tries to set an example for good health and a healthy lifestyle for his patients. He listens to his patients carefully and tries to explain his diagnoses and recommendations fully, so everyone can understand the plan of care, and makes them feel very comfortable during their visits.
